The ceremony took place with the participation of leaders from the Ministry of Construction, Hanoi City ; leaders of Departments concerned and some local authority where Viglacera has made great contributions to the development such as Bac Ninh, Binh Duong and Quang Ninh. Also came some partners as well as the loyal customers of Vigalcera and particularly the participation of the former leaders, officials and staff representatives of over 30 member units representing 15,000 people workers nationwide.

In this solemn ceremony, 35-year history of formation and development of Viglacera with different up and down periods of the country was re-born in the traditional film "Viglacera - Land, Fire and Manpower"; from the first session of the difficult setting up of the company of glazed terra-cotta and porcelain construction to the foundation of the Union of Factory and Ceramic tile construction especially in the revolution of construction materials , along with the breaking through into the field of new stage Corporation Glass and Ceramic Construction. The milestones as well as all unforgettable historical periods in the development of Viglacera were also represented by the lively pano system , which was elaborately prepared at the lobby of the ceremony hall ; has brought about a clear picture about difficult with the honor time of Viglacera during the last 35 years.

This was the opportunity for Viglacera to recognize and assess its achievements, as well as the difficulties and challenges in 35 years of development to make the orientation and development strategy in the new situation in order to maintain the position of Viglacera in the building material industry in Vietnam; simultaneously bringing Viglacera brand to reach a new level .

Judging the 35 years history of Viglacera, Minister of Construction Nguyen Hong Quan said : " Viglacera has reached up to become one of the largest corporation in the field of manufacturing building materials, which have positively contributed to the industrialization and modernization of the country. Viglacera also took some reckless and effective steps in industrial zone and real estate investment business . That is creative thinking which is greatly praised. "

It was not only witnessed documents but also people with their stories and words in the anniversary that contributed to prove the glory and prideful history of Viglacera. From the stories about the period of setting up Tunnel factory, or outbreaking fence for credit limit in order to improve technology of General director Dinh Quang Huy to the enthusiastic words of Le Tien Dung – Hanoi Vigracera factory, representatives for Hanoi young generation is pledged to keep “fire” of all Viglacera’s generations.

The congratulations and sharings from both domestic and foreign partners once again have asserted the proper orientation of Viglacera in the new situation. “ With more than 10 years of cooperation, Viglacera and our corporation have build a strong relationship, which brought about benefit for the joint – venture , the glass industry and the economy as well.” (Mr. Derek – Managing Director of the NSG Group in Southeast Asia)

Mr. Luyen Cong Minh, the CEO of Viglacera claimed : “Today, Viglacera is not only known as its pioneering role in producing and trading construction materials but in recent year, people also associated the corporation with some real estate projects, which are establishing clearer position in the market.”

For professionalism , in the middle of May 2007, Viglacera has established the Viglacera Real Estate (Viglacera Land), including 8 member companies in real estate , building and consultancy business in order to exploit the strengths and develop a total power of corporation in the field of real estate investment in the direction of building a higher professionalism and specialization. Viglacera was also selected by the Ministry of Construction to build the standard real estate trading center in Hanoi . The center has modern equipments, professional and knowledgeable staff , providing quick and efficient investment services such as consultancy, brokers , pricing, distributing , legal assistance and administrative procedures ...

Mr. Luyen Cong Minh also said that Viglacera is the only one building materials manufacturers in Vietnam, which can provide services following the "one-stop shop" model – by providing the whole package with all kinds of building materials. In addition, a positive response to the development of social accommodation by the Government and representing the social responsibility in developing real estate get great focus by Viglacera. Viglacera has recently commenced a housing project for workers in Yen Phong Industrial Zone with a total area of 52 ha. High apartment building will be completed in the late of 2009. At the early of July, a totally new similar project has also started, providing more social housing for workers and low-income people working in Tien Son industrial zone to improve the infrastructure of the Tien Son industrial zone ...
